the Second Annual Green Masterpieces Concert

At the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade, Boston

 

 

Join us for a free concert of music inspired by nature presented by the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, conducted by Charles Ansbacher.  The night promises to be an exciting celebration of clean air and water, and the performing arts. This year theme celebrates clean air and water and accordingly the concert will feature Handel’s Water Music, Smetana’s The Moldau, and the world premiere of Stephen Feigenbaum’s newly commissioned whale piece Speak, Sing, Whale. 

Calvin the Whale
 

Come early (5-7pm) for a Family-friendly Earth Fest featuring many environmental groups including speakers and the New England Aquarium’s Calvin the Right Whale (portrayed on Beacon Hill).

Participating environmental event partners will include The Boston Harbor Association, Charles River Conservancy, Charles River Watershed Association, Environmental League of Massachusetts, the Esplanade Association, Mass Audubon, New England Aquarium, Ocean Alliance, Ocean River Institute, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, and the Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters.

Additionally, this will be a carbon neutral concert, a first for Boston!
