Saving Florida's Environment with the Host of the Mario Jr Alive & Green Show

 

Rob talks with Mario Ridgley, Jr. of Palm Coast Florida. Mario is a 13 year old A-B Honor, Community & Environmental Activist and is host of the Mario Jr. Alive and Green Show on Voice America Kids Channel. I had the honor and pleasure of being on Mario's show in Dec 2011. In 6th grade Mario entered the Science Fair with sustainable green products in the environmental category: plastics vs biodegradable.  Mario describes the taste of one of the cardboard products that included broccoli.  Another effort featured green cookies.  Mario explains how he teamed up with Waste Pro of Florida and World Green Consultants, Inc. to start with others a recycling program in his school. More recently Mario hosts a successful internet talk radio program and travels about to raise environmental awareness.  The evening before this interview Mario spoke to Boy Scouts. Mario is happy to start off a new year of exploring the natural world, selecting the Green topics that KIDS around the WORLD are talking about.
