Mass Ocean Day at the State House

In 2007 the Ocean River Institute working with Conservation Law Foundation, Mass Audubon and the Ocean Conservancy was contracted to manage the Massachusetts Ocean Coalition. Together, by Ocean Day November 15, we succeeded in engaging over 4,000 invidividual with about one hundred groups and agencies assisting in various capacities. Forty-seven organizations signed onto the coalition in public support of comprehensive ocean management for Massachusetts 1.6 million acres of ocean.
