From sock top to bottom the fish are mackerel, blue-back herring, cod, haddock, salmon, wolfish, ocean perch (Acadian redfish) and monkfish. On the other foot you’ll have osprey, black-crowned night heron, great blue heron, common dolphin, humpback whale, ocean perch, blue crab and a stalked sea anemone. This anemone lives on the muddy ocean floor that is essential habitat for the ocean perch. The blue crab lives in estuaries.
Celebrate the marine life we are working to save. Kick your shoes off and put your feet up in good company. In need of an ocean conservation paradigm shift? Cross your feet and see animals move to the other side. Make sure young-at-heart can see the difference between cod and haddock, monkfish and wolfish, perch and herring, heron and osprey, anemone and crab.
