Right Whales, Fish Stocks, and the New Charlie on the MTA

Today Rob and Noa discuss the exciting northern migration of the North Atlantic Right Whale that is occurring right now. Rob and his son Ryan were lucky enough to site and sail with a few whales just off their boat in the eastern part of Cape Cod Bay.  For thirty years right whales were known for frequenting the Eastern portion of the bay until this year when they were at the mouth of Cape Cod Canal. Noa then talks about the status of the fish stocks for the country: changes in the number of stocks on the overfishing, overfished, and rebuilt lists. We finish up the program on Rob’s petition to Governor Baker for increased public access to transportation, clean water, and clean air.
