On this week’s episode Rob and Noa talk to Jacqui Thurlow-Lippisch, Commissioner and Former Mayor of Sewall’s Point, FL about the importance of protecting sharks and what’s been going on in Indian River Lagoon. Jacqui tells us that she was invited to visit a classroom at the elementary school and was blown away by how much the kids new about sharks. They came up with the motto, protect and respect, which showed her that they understood the significance of sharks in the ecosystem. We then heard Jacqui’s take on why Indian River Lagoon is so special and the River Kidz’s work to raise awareness about this unique place. Take action and do your share to keep our waters healthy!
