No To Heathrow Expansion

Description: “The government has given the go ahead for a climate-wrecking third runway at Heathrow airport. Heathrow is already the biggest single source of greenhouse gases in the UK – a third runway will all but blow our chances of meeting our targets for cutting emissions. Join us outside the Royal Court of Justice on Tuesday 15th January to say #NoThirdRunway and show your opposition to this climate-wrecking project. We will provide placards, but feel free to bring your own messages too. Depending on space, you may also be able to attend the pre-trial hearing inside the court from 10am onwards.”

Where: Royal Courts of Justice at The Strand Room M103, WC2R 1 London, United Kingdom

When: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9 AM – 10:30 AM UTC

We’ll hear from those who have done this, pick up their top tips, and go right through the process to leave you all equipped to do the same! Council motions are a fantastic campaign tool so do join us. We’ll also look at what else is hot in the campaign, including the upcoming Let Communities Decide Gathering in early February!”
