Grayhound

Grayhound built by the Boatbuilder Chris Rees at Voyage Boatyard in Cornwall, launched in 2012. Grayhound is a 5/6 scale replica of a three-masted UK Customs lugger called Grayhound built in Cawsand Cornwall in 1776. Fishermen favored luggers, a vessel rigged with “lugsails.” Lugsails are loose footed, there is no wooden spar or boom at the bottom of the sail.
