Description
Great Skua (called “Bonxie” in the Hebrides) is a large brown seabird named for an island in the Faroes Islands, Skuvoy, where they breed. Skuas will pirate other birds steeling their food. These photos were taken on St. Kilda, Scotland’s western most island, in 2018.
